ALEKSANDER NOWACKI

President

Aleksander is a second-year student studying economic and social sciences at Bocconi University in Milan. He is from Poland and throughout his childhood was engaged in football and tennis. He always contributed to important causes, including organising charity run for a local hospice. With his team for this achievement, they were named Volunteers of the Year by the City Council. He joined 180 in his first semester of university, and has taken part in two projects that included a market expansion strategy and forecasting startup’s financials. In the 2024/25 academic year he serves as President.

MADELEINE LAWLER

operations & finance director

Madeleine Lawler is a third year student in the World Bachelor in Business program, where she has studied for a year in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Milan. This is her fourth year in 180DC: in the past, she has worked as a Vice President for 180DC Hong Kong and as a Project Manager for 180DC Los Angeles. Madeleine is especially passionate about environmentalism and sustainable agriculture, and has cofounded a sustainable farm in West Africa. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, and traveling.

IOANA BELA

HR director

Ioana Bela is a third year Economics and Finance student in Bocconi. She is Romanian and this is her second year in 180, now taking on the position of HR Director. Her past projects include the tech-startup called Ekvi, as well as the Kenyan NGO Stahili. She has been passionate about social impact since early high school and has been working closely with non-profits ever since. In her free time, she enjoys Yoga, reading, and Art exhibitions

LUIGI OLIGINO

marketing director

Luigi is a third-year student in Economics and Finance at Bocconi University. Born and raised in Venezuela. This is his third semester in 180DC Milan: during which he has worked on projects with Ecuadorian NGO, Fundación El Triangulo, and finance start-up, Nemani Microcredit. Having previously been Marketing Key Responsibility Manager, now he takes the role of Marketing Director.

TEODORA CIORCILAN

Teodora is a second year student in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University. Originally from Romania, she grew up in Vienna. During her time as vice president in High School she started her journey for social impact by organizing a fundraising event for Ukrainian refugees. She enjoys traveling and hiking in her freetime. She joined 180 during her first semester at university, and has taken part in two projects as a consultant and team lead, before becoming Client Director.

EDOUARD GEISLER

Edouard is a second-year student in Economics and Management at Bocconi University. Originally from France, he also grew up in South Africa, England, and Spain, which has shaped his international perspective. His passion for social impact started in high school, where he volunteered with organizations such as La Chorba, serving meals to individuals in need, and Les Restos du Coeur, raising awareness and donations for poverty alleviation. Edouard joined 180 Degrees Consulting in his first semester and has since taken on roles as consultant, team leader, KRM, and most recently, Client Director.

ANNA BANOVICS

PARTNERSHIPS director

Anna is a second-year student studying Economics and Management at Bocconi University in Milan. Originally from Hungary, she spent all her childhood in Hungary before moving to Italy. Her journey for social impact began early on in high school when she volunteered to tutor kids in her high school, and when, after the Ukrainian-Russian war broke out, she helped the Ukrainian refugees find accommodation and human aid. Starting her second year at 180DC Milan, Anna is taking on the position of Partnerships director.
